Process

Wind Mitigation
Inspection & Application
A licensed inspector will give you a wind mitigation inspection, at no cost to you. They will provide you with a inspection report that you will upload to your My Safe Florida Home Portal.
Be sure to share this with your insurance provider to ensure you are receiving all discounts available.
After your inspection results are uploaded, if all criteria is met, you will receive an email to let you know it is time to fill out the application!Your application will then be reviewed and then approved.

My Safe Florida Home has different home improvement options to protect your home. 1) Impact Windows & Doors 2) Roofing Ensure You use a Licensed & Insured Contractor.

Submit your improvements to your home insurance company to ensure you get all discounts applicable. Submit all documentation needed for My Safe Florida Home so you receive your Grant.
